The open world segments have a few breadcrumbs and intel here and there, but I do think the culmination of the open world design mastered by The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is evident here. Take a path towards your objective but if you get distracted and something catches your eye go for it!
Over the additional 15 hours it took to complete the game’s critical path, those hopes didn’t pan out. Star Wars Outlaws is a visually beautiful experience set in a compelling franchise setting, but the things you actually do in the game are so simple and same-y that they just don’t generate interest or momentum. Before too long, only the main story felt rewarding enough to bother with.

DIFFICULTY & ACCESSIBILITY: There are four difficulty levels: Explorer (Story), Adventurer (Easy), Outlaw (Normal), and Scoundrel (Hard). It’s possible another is unlocked once the game is beaten. A decent range of accessibility options are also available, including customizable colorblind presets, menu narration, and customizable hearing presets.
